DDF 2015 Abstract Submission Closing Soon

The 2nd Digestive Disorders Federation conference will take place 22 – 25 June 2015 in London ExCel

Abstract submission closes on Friday 27 February for the DDF 2015 Meeting which will be taking place 22 -25 June 2015 at ExCeL, London. This meeting is organised in partnership with ACPBGI, AUGIS, BAPEN, BASL and the BSG.

Submit your abstract to take advantage of the opportunity have your research reach an expected multidisciplinary audience of 4,500 gastroenterology professionals at the meeting itself.  In addition, all accepted abstracts will also be published in GUT – the leading BMJ Journal.

AUGIS headshotIt is an interesting time to be a surgical trainee. The recent Greenaway report Shape of Training has caused anxiety amongst many that any reduction in the length of training will be detrimental to the “craft” specialties. Couple this with a shift in rhetoric from training “specialists” to training “generalists”, of post-CCT subspecialty “credentialing”, plus talk of an increasing need for acute general surgical consultants, it is no wonder many trainees are concerned about their career prospects.
