About us

AUGISt is the trainee section of AUGIS (Association of Upper GI Surgeons). We represent the views of trainees in all branches of upper gastrointestinal surgery in hepatopancreatobiliary, oesophagogastric and bariatric surgery. Membership of the AUGISt is automatic on joining AUGIS as a trainee member. We hold a Training Day and an Annual Dinner on day before the main AUGIS meeting. In 2012 this will be held in Liverpool on June 17th.
