Samir graduated from Liverpool Medical School with honours in 2006.
He currently works as an Academic Clinical Lecturer in HPB and General Surgery at the University of Bristol. He has previously trained in Liverpool, Leeds and the South West. In addition to his MD thesis, Samir also holds a BSc and MSc degrees.
Samir’s main areas of interest, where he has published several significant papers, are around the management of advanced liver tumours. The focus of his current research will be around how surgical innovation occurs in Liver and Pancreatic Surgery.
