Inaugural Roux Group Weekend

Sponsored by Cook Medical and CPD points confirmed event

The Roux group is the trainee section of the Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons. We welcome you to our inaugural Roux group meeting at the Chesford Grange, Kenilworth. You will have the opportunity to attend our excellent educational programme, the gala dinner and the annual general meeting of the Roux group.

The educational programme aims to cover a number of challenging topics within the specialties of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and upper gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery by nationally and internationally renowned experts. There will be clinical case discussions, MDT discussions and debates by expert panels as well as opportunities to network and build collaborations with colleagues and participate in research networks. The meeting costs £150 to attend for current AUGIS trainee members and a gala dinner and accommodation will be provided at the hotel. Non-members of AUGIS and consultants can attend for a charge of £250 and £300 respectively. All AUGIS trainee members are welcome to attend the AUGIS trainee annual general meeting and will have voting rights to elect positions on the Roux group committee. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

We hope you will enjoy a carefully planned educational weekend in the company of colleagues and friends and have the chance to network with our faculty of national and internationally renowned experts.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
