Training Day

The AUGISt training day is the focus of the trainee calendar. The training day provides the opportunity to learn from the experts, with small group tutorials and viva sessions run by members of the AUGIS council as well as visiting international speakers attending the annual conference.

Highlights have included being tutored on the topic of bile duct injuries by Professor Steve Strasberg and debating the complexities of oesophageal resection with Professor Don Lowe. The training is day is followed by the Annual AUGISt Barrett’s Dinner, an industry sponsored evening for AUGISt members.
