Additional information
This is a Liver unit and is the designated centre to manage all patients with liver surgical problems in South Wales (population 2.2 million). Benign pancreatic patients are managed here for the Cardiff area. This unit performs all kinds of liver resections including laparoscopic resections. The main emphasis is on parenchymal preserving resections where we perform complex resections to allow parenchymal preservation.
